This month I feel a change in the air.

Philip MacDonald is due to retire this year, and has written his last Dear Friends article. Have a long and happy retirement Philip, and thank you for your contributions and support - both have been most welcome.

It is also six years since I agreed to be the editor of Connected; I always thought that I would do this for five years maximum, and yet here I am...

And of course we welcome King Charles III formally this month.

Also in Connected this month, Brayton WI samples wine with John Butterwick; the exact details of the event seem somewhat sketchy - Jean was unsure if 25 people sampled 4 bottles, or 4 people sampled 25 bottles. But either way they enjoyed the afternoon.
