St Nicholas
The parish church of St Nicholas stands high above the Main Street overlooking the Village Community Shop and Post Office.
It is open daily to visitors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m
We welcome visitors at any of our services, listed below.
The church porch, which is never locked, houses one of the village's defibrillators as well as a receptacle for gifts for the local food bank. A PIR detector turns the light on if you enter after dark.

St Mary's Church, Marton in the Forest
A beautiful countryside church with a peaceful ambience and wildlife-friendly churchyard.
You may know us for our roadside sign: 'Find Peace & Tranquility Within'.
Marton Church is open daily for personal prayer.
Marton in the Forest is on the road between Stillington and Farlington (YO61 1NH).
Our vicar is the Reverend Steve Whiting. -
