Our annual service of remembrance when the names of those from Stillington who lost their lives in the two World Wars are read out.
The service starts later than usual, at 10.45am, and the two minute silence is observed at 11.00am.

St Nicholas

The parish church of St Nicholas stands high above the Main Street overlooking the Village Community Shop and Post Office.

It is open daily to visitors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m

We welcome visitors at any of our services, listed below. 

The church porch, which is never locked, houses one of the village's defibrillators as well as a receptacle for gifts for the local food bank. A PIR detector turns the light on if you enter after dark.
