Our priest in charge is the Rev Steve Whiting.
He is also Area Dean for the Easingwold Deanery.
A beautiful countryside church with a peaceful ambience and wildlife-friendly churchyard.

Marton Church is open daily for personal prayer.
Marton in the Forest is on the road between Stillington and Farlington (YO61 1NH).

The parish of Sheriff Hutton: St Helen & the Holy Cross is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. The parish church of St Nicholas stands high above the Main Street overlooking the Village Community Shop and Post Office.
It is open daily to visitors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m

The church porch, which is never locked, houses one of the village's defibrillators as well as a receptacle for gifts for the local food bank. A PIR detector turns the light on if you enter after dark.
Welcome to All Hallows, which serves the two villages of Sutton on the Forest and Huby. We have services at 10.00 am on the first and third Sundays of the month.
