This is our Patronal festival (St Nicholas' Day itself is on 6th December). In memory of the stories surrounding St Nicholas, we aim to ensure children who might otherwise not get given presents at Christmas do so. We do this by asking all our parishioners to bring or leave suitable gifts to be distributed by the Salvation Army based at Malton. More details of these arrangements will be published later. Following the service we shall be turning on our lights ready to celebrate Advent and the Christmas period and to bring light in the darkest months of the year.
