About Us

Members of Alne Church welcome all visitors to our friendly church. We have Holy Communion or Morning Worship every second and fourth Sunday starting at 10.30 am followed by refreshments. 

A full range of services takes place at Christmas and Easter as well as services at harvest time and Remembrance Sunday.

There is a kitchen servery at the church to cater for events taking place and groups that meet there, including the Parish Council.

We are very much involved with Alne Primary School which holds Harvest and Christmas Services  in the church each year. Visits to the church by the pupils take place regularly, with some lessons also taking place there.

Each year the church is involved with Alne Street Fayre (usually the second Sunday in June) and the biennial Open Gardens event. There is a programme of social events including music concerts and talks.
