We are working to a commitment to be a Fairtrade Place of Worship. This means: using Fairtrade tea, coffee and sugar in all our refreshments; holding stalls, events and observing Fairtrade Fortnight. Do come along to buy Fairtrade items from our monthly stalls. Our stalls will run in both churches after the service during refreshments on a cash only basis. We also celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight, an annual event for one week usually during February/March.
MOTO (Men On Their Own) as the name implies is a group for single and bereaved men who meet alternate months at a Poppleton hostelry for lunch, fellowship, a chat and a chance to make new friends. The group has been running for twenty two years as the Vicar at that time saw a need to give support to newly bereaved gentlemen in the community. New members always welcome. <br>For more details contact Harold Pickup tel. 01904 795506.
