This Book of Remembrance and Roll of Honour commemorates those brave men of the Parish of Aldringham–cum-Thorpe who made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives in the service of their country during The Great War (1914~1918), World War Two (1939~1945) and in Northern Ireland.

Sons, brothers, fathers they selflessly went to war and did not return. We also remember the families they left behind who themselves made the greatest possible sacrifice in giving their loved ones in the cause of freedom.

This record will remind future generations of these brave sons of Aldringham-cum-Thorpe and that those coming after them may never forget their deeds.
