VE Day was Friday May 8 2020 and many celebrations planned for that day had to be cancelled or postponed and we were not able to open our church .

However we planned a way in which we could celebrate this anniversary of the ending of war in 1945.

On May 8, we erected in the churchyard, a biographical display remembering the fallen from our parish who perished in the 39-45 war. This has now been removed but you can still view the biographies online by clicking on the attachment below.
