Our Building

Open for individual prayer

The stained glass windows in the chancel were restored in 1866 by Archdeacon Stephen Creyke. The centre piece of these is the magnificent East Window, which, although much restored, contains some of the original 15th century glass. The splendid workmanship reflects the importance of the subject matter – the saints whom the church commemorates.

There are also stained glass windows by the Victorian artist C E Kempe and the pre-Raphaelite artist Edward Burne-Jones.

The more modern magnificent Thomas Denny Millennium window on the west wall is also a delight for visitors and depicts animals, birds and people and scenes from around the village.

Grade 1 Listed building consecrated in 1424.
