Roots: Outdoor Church, our monthly outdoor service

Roots is a service for children and families with activities in the great outdoors. As winter approaches from October we will be gathering at The Parish Rooms whilst also using our outdoor space, walking to our nearby woods and Holme Green area. Together we will explore God's love for us with activities for all ages.

The next Roots services will look at:
February - The gift of time (in a Leap year!)

Come dressed for the weather (perhaps wellies and raincoats)

As part of our service takes place outdoors, this is a risk assessed event and so any child(ren) must be accompanied by a parent. Thank you for your understanding.

All Saints, Appleton

We are a small, friendly rural church in the heart of the village, where everyone is welcome. We long to be a place to belong for all people looking to explore God's love for themselves.  We meet each Sunday, either in All Saints' church in Appleton or for a joint service with the churches of Acaster Selby, Acaster Malbis or Bolton Percy. Sometimes we gather midweek to grow in different aspects of faith: pre-Christmas / pre-Easter courses, prayer courses etc. Find out more about how you can get involved by looking at our Services and Events  - we can't wait to meet you!

The parish of Appleton Roebuck w Acaster Selby is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs.
