Dear friends,

Lent is almost over and we are about to journey through Holy Week and Jesus’s sacrifice on the Cross for our sins, through to Easter Morning and the hope and joy of His resurrection.

The Thought for the Week this week considers the pilgrim path we all take, through Lent but also through life.

There is a lot going on in the AAAs and the wider ABCs in the next couple of weeks – see below. We are very happy at All Saints Appleton Roebuck to be welcoming ++Stephen to our Good Friday Gathering and Walk of Witness.

If you have children or grandchildren between 3 and 11 then get ready for Miracle Labs, where some of us (including Vicar Geoff, Rachel and Philip) are dressing up as scientists to demonstrate cool experiments which link with Gospel truths! This will take place during Holy Week at St Giles Copmanthorpe every morning from Monday to Thursday 9:30 – 12:30. Details below.
