Dear Friends,

I hope this email finds you well. Half term is over in York, but in full flow in Newcastle so I have been having fun with my toddler grandsons, visiting the railway museum, playing in the garden, collecting leaves, flowers and pebbles in the colour of the rainbow and baking delicious things with chocolate in them. It’s good to be reminded to find joy and wonder in the little things, just like toddlers do.

Michael has written this week’s Thought (attached), and it’s beautiful. All about finding joy in unexpected places and being grateful for the people God puts in our lives.

Lent is almost upon us, and I want to remind you about Alive in Christ, our Lent course, which will be on Wednesdays from 12th March for 5 weeks. There’s a choice of Wednesday mornings at 11-12:30 at St Giles, Copmanthorpe, or Wednesday afternoons at 14:30 – 16:00 at the Parish Room in Bolton Percy. Please see the attached flyer for more detail.
