On the 5th Sunday of the month (29th December 2024) there will be a shared service of Holy Communion at 10:30 at St Giles Church, Copmanthorpe. This Eurcharist will be presided over by Reverend Jan Dash. This is an opportunity for all our communities in the ABC and AAA benefices to worship together. (AAA includes; Acaster Malbis, Acaster Selby and Appleton Roebuck and ABC includes; Askham Bryan, Bolton Percy, Colton and Copmanthorpe churches.).

Holy Trinity

We are a friendly village church with a large carpark, on the outskirts of Acaster Malbis but with strong links in the heart of the village. Worship is fairly traditional and reflects our rural setting with a beautiful cycle of services such as The Blessing of the Lamb, Rogation, Plough Service and of course Harvest. Two of our Sunday services are Holy Communion, when we hear from the Bible and we consider how to model Jesus' love in our everyday lives. We sing hymns, pray together, we receive from God in the sacrament of communion and we leave to bless our communities and be blessed by God. Once a month we enjoy a Family Worship service, which is more informal and and includes time to reflect on the focus of the service in more creative ways. We would love to welcome you to our growing congregation. Our fourth service is a joint service with the Methodist chapel in Acaster.
