Sea Sunday

Occurring
for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
St Thomas' Church
Address
Market Street Stourbridge, DY8 1AQ, United Kingdom

Our regular Sunday worship is dedicated this week to reflection and thanksgiving for the work of all who work on the sea. Despite Stourbridge being almost as far away from the sea as one can get in the UK, our daily lives are constantly supported by sea-farers. We’ll be making clear our gratitude, and praying for all whose lives and livelihoods depend upon the sea. We’re also inviting guests who represent sea-faring charities, who will be sharing more about their work after the service.

St Thomas' Church

St Thomas' Church is a Grade 1 listed Georgian building, featuring attractive stained glass and an unusual barrel-vaulted ceiling.

St Thomas' is at the spiritual and physical heart of Stourbridge's vibrant town centre. You'll find a warm welcome to our traditional Anglican worship, and we boast a fine musical worship tradition with a regular programme of concerts, recitals and other events.
