As this new year begins for education, this is the time in the Church callendar when we thing about Creation and in this period of Creationtide, we would like to invite you and your children to Forest Church to be held in St Peter's Churchyard on Sunday 17th September starting at 3pm - 4.30pm.
There will be the usual story, activities, games and refreshments all to be held outside in the hopefully sunshine. Provision will be made if the weather is too wet to be outside.
As the theme is looking after our Earth, one of the crafts involves making bird feeders using peanut butter. Please be aware of this and as this activity will be outside and well away from the other activities it can be well avoided and everyone kept safe. Please note this activity will not happen inside and it may well be we have found an alternative in the meantime.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Pedmore is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Elaine Hurry or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Hilary Higton at [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
