All are welcome to this informal gathering at the back of church - a chance to meet old friends and make new ones over coffee, tea and cake.

Ash Wednesday marks the start of Lent, the season of prayer, fasting and repentance. In this solemn service, the priest dips his finger into a mixture of ash and oil and then marks each person's forehead with a cross, saying, "Remember you are dust, and to dust you shall return." This reminds us of both our human mortality and the need for the rebuilding of the relationship between ourselves and God our Creator which has been broken by our sin.

This service replaces the regular Wednesday Said Mass at 9.30am.

One of our regular social events, with a lighthearted quiz and fun for all the family. This one is taking place on the weekend of Mothering Sunday - why not make it a family outing and give everyone a break from cooking?
