Read the Word - Fridays in Lent @St Mary's

Occurring
Every Friday at for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
St Mary's
Address
St Mary's, Clensmore Street Kidderminster, DY10 2JN, United Kingdom

On five Fridays in Lent we are reading together through one of the New Testament Epistles. We will be looking at St Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians. We are very familiar with some sections which are set readings in our Sunday services. But this gives an opportunity to read through the whole book in manageable chunks. Did St Paul regard Corinth as a “problem church”? What was the background to this correspondence? What issues did he have to deal with? What do we learn for our own discipleship and the life of the church today?

We meet in St Mary's at 2 pm on these Fridays:
March 14, 21, 28, April 4, 11.

If you’re joining us, or would like more information, email [email protected]
All are welcome. Bring a Bible!
