Church Annual Meeting - Sunday 27th April

Occurring
for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
St Mary's
Address
Clensmore Street Kidderminster, DY10 2JN, United Kingdom

Sunday 27th April is the date for the Annual Church Meeting for St Mary's and Holy Trinity, Trimpley - the two churches that share one District Church Council. The meeting follows on from St Mary's morning service, and therefore starts at 12.30 pm in the Chantry (the hall adjoining St Mary's Church). The meeting begins at 12.30 pm, and is followed by a Bring and Share Lunch.

All church members are urged to come to this meeting. Reports and financial accounts for 2024 will be available from Easter Day (April 20th). The meeting is the chance to ask questions about the reports, approve the accounts, and choose people to serve on the Church Council.

Do come - and bring enough food for yourself and a little more - to make our Bring and Share Lunch.

St Mary's

St Mary's is the historic Parish Church of Kidderminster.  It is the beautiful place where our church members and visitors gather every Sunday to offer praise and prayers to God, and to be refreshed and equipped to live out our Christian life in the week ahead.  Because of its place in the history of Kidderminster we are often the location for civic services for the whole town - most notably on Remembrance Sunday each year.  We welcome anyone who wants to join us for worship or our other activities, or to step into the beauty of the building - a place where God's presence can bring calm and stillness in the hectic rush of life.

Our Sunday worship is traditional with a robed choir and hymns accompanied by the organ. Families and children are welcome .

The church is a historic building.  From April to the end of September we welcome visitors on Tuesdays and Thursdays  (from 11 am to 3 pm) who come to explore this building where prayer has been offered for centuries.   Check our "St Mary's Open Church" item on the next page to check dates.

We exist to honour God and proclaim the Gospel, to nourish followers of Jesus Chist and to serve the community.   We are part of a Local Ecumenical Partnership with Trinity Methodist and a member of Churches Together in Kidderminster supporting the Foodbank and Street Pastors in the town.
