We invite you to our weekly Eucharist - the service of Holy Communion in which we receive the consecrated Bread and Wine. We come together to be with Jesus Christ. We gather as a Christian community to pray, to listen, to sing, to worship and to receive the Sacrament. We have people here who are regular worshippers, and very often visitors either from the town or coming from a distance. And there is a chance to chat and to meet new people over refreshments after the service.

Children are welcome. And if you need it Communion can be available with Gluten-free and alcohol-free elements - please speak to the stewards when you arrive. If you are not sure about receiving Communion, you are still welcome.

Coming together in this way helps us deepen our Christian understanding and equips us to live out our faith day by day.

St Mary's Ladies' Fellowship

Every Second, Fourth Monday at for 1 hour, 30 mins

A twice monthly meeting to listen to interesting speakers, share stories, support local charities and have fun!
We provide fellowship and friendship both at and outside of meetings to help combat loneliness and isolation.
Open to anyone - you don't need to be a church member.

Christmas celebrations

Join us as we gather to mark the birth of Jesus Christ. His coming into our world is the centrepiece of all our celebrations. History is dated from his arrival.

The coming of Jesus Christ changed the world and many people still today discover the change he makes to their own lives.
We invite you to share in our Christmas services.

CRIB SERVICE
Ideal for children - we make the journey to Bethlehem,
and with carols and crib figures prepare for the birth of Jesus.

MIDNIGHT COMMUNION
- we share in the holy Bread and Wine
as we welcome the Christ child in the stillness of the night.

Piano Recital - Saturday 11th January

We inite you to a concert in St Mary's church on Saturday 11th January at 1 pm. Jill Crossland (piano) will be playing music by Bach, Schumann and Chopin. Admission is free - Donations invited to cover the cost of the concert.

Epiphany Carol Service - January 12th

The feast of Epiphany is when we remember the coming of the Wise Men to find the new-born Christ.
"We three kings from orient are...."
The Epiphany season also prompts us to be aware of other ways and other times when we come face to face with Jesus.
We mark this season with a service of Carols, music and readings - and we invite you to join us: Sunday 12th January at 4 pm.
