As we approach one of the greatest events in the Christian calendar, why not take some time out to find or reconnect with Jesus.

We hope that as you spend time with Him you will have a blessed Christmas and that your relationship with Him deepens and grows into 2025.

This year at St George’s at Christmas time
We’ll tell the story of Jesus’ birth, in rhyme

The rhymes may not be poetic gold
But the story is wonderous and will be told

Of how a child was born on earth
And what happened to bring about that birth

Come at 3.30 for mince pies and drinks
The story starts at 4pm (we think)

Less than an hour to tell the story
Of Jesus’ birth in all its glory

Come as you are, it doesn’t matter what you wear
Come and make noise we really don’t care

Just come and hear the story, it’s good
And start Christmas the way you should!

Why not forget the Christmas shopping and food preparations for an hour or so?

Join us at St George's Church on Saturday 14th December for an informal telling of the Christmas Story with popular Christmas carols. A carol service in the round (or maybe square) particularly aimed at youngsters aged one to ninety-one.

Refreshments served at 3:30pm. followed by the service at 4:00pm.

The story of the first Christmas

A traditional service with familiar carols and Christmas readings

Midnight Communion Service at 11:30pm.

St George's Choir will sing traditional carols from the balcony at 11:00pm. Not to be missed - a truly wonderful start to Christmas!

All are very welcome.

There will be a Holy Communion Service on Christmas Day at 10:30am.
