Mel is currently serving as Assistant Curate in the Halas Team Ministry in this Diocese. She is married to Wyn, who is also a priest in the Diocese. Before ordination, Mel worked as a midwife for almost twenty years in hospital and community.A date for her Licensing will be confirmed shortly.Please remember Mel and Wyn in your prayers as they prepare to move.
St Anne's has received grant funding towards repair and renovation of the exterior as phase one of an ambitious scheme to make the building usable for a wide range of purposes as a Community Hub. The funding also covers an architect-led feasibility study into how the building could be developed.A detailed specification for the exterior work has been drawn up and put out to tender, and detailed arrangements for the start of this work are now in progress The work will include repairs to failing stonework and will also include pointing and renovation of the exterior facings.
Demands for help with supplies of food and other basics are higher than ever at the moment. St Anne's church will be open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10.00am till 2.00pm for donations to be made. On every weekday from 10:00 until 16:00 donations can also be left at Eden Midcalf Estates Agents in Load St. (just down from the Post Office) for distribution in Wyre Forest via the Franche Community Church foodbank.Please help us to help others in hardship.
