On 25th April the District Council organised an event in St Anne's church at which a wide range of both professional and voluntary agencies came along to promote the services and support which they offer to the over 50s. Some 20 organisations attended and over 150 individuals came along to chat to representatives and pick up information. Elaine Halford-Bishop, Wyre Forest District Council's Health and Sustainability Officer, was thrilled with the turnout and the positive feedback from both the agencies and visitors. She is hoping to plan a similar session at St Anne's in the Autumn.
