About Us

St Anne's Parish Church in the Town Centre is an impressive, Georgian building that has been a focus for worship since 1748. It is the home of a large, friendly and diverse group of Christians. We aim to be
* a warm and accepting community,
* child friendly,
* vibrant, reflective and relevant in worship,
* open to change,
* thoughtful in our faith,
* serving the wider world.

Sunday worship normally lasts just over an hour starting at 9.30 am. Music is important to us and is usually a mix of traditional and contemporary. Children and Young People will often meet in their own groups and join with adults for Communion.

The building is open during the week, Thursday - Saturday 10am - 2pm, for people to call in for refreshment, for a chat or just for peace & quiet.
