Shared Festal Mass for Petertide

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
S. Peter's church Cradley
Address
S. Peter's church Cradley, Church lane, Cradley, B63 2UL, B63 2UL

We join together with our wider parish family at our sister church, S. Peter's Cradley. A festal Holy Communion with hymns for S. Peter's Day, (our sister church patron saint) followed by procession of the blessed sacrament and the blessing of the community, and clypping of the Church. Clypping is an ancient traditional ceremony of encircling the church with people standing in a ring - almost like giving the church a hug as a thank you for all the love that pours out from the building, and the place in which we encounter God throughout the year. This worship will also be the occasion on which Revd Rachel Homer, our Team Deacon, offers her first mass as Priest, following her Priestly ordination the day before at Worcester Cathedral. All are welcome! The worship will be followed by a bring and share supper
