St Mary de Wyche, Wychbold
St Mary de Wyche is located at the junction of Church lane and Shaw Lane in Wychbold. The Grade II* listed church was built between 1888-9, funded by the Amphlett family and John Corbett, an industrialist and the local Member of Parliament. The southeast tower contains an original late 13th century doorway.
Although situated out of the village, the church is community focused, with services to suit all ages.
The church is one of a group of 3 churches - Stoke Prior & Upton Warren & Wychbold - which are part of the parish of Bromsgrove. You can see more about the wider parish here: The Parish of Bromsgrove (bromsgroveparish.org.uk)
We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, (PSO). The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
