The National Lottery Heritage Fund

In May 2023 we launched a two-year heritage project.   'If These Walls Could Talk...Revealing Secrets at Hampton Lovett Church' is on-going and is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players and the fundraising efforts and donations of our local and wider community we have been able to carry out major repair and conservation works to the C14th tower as well as works to enable the tower to be reopened for guided visitor access. There is also a programme of events and community activities all designed to engage more people with the heritage story of this remarkable church and  community.

The project is now well advanced. Please do check out everything that has happened by reading our News Items and opening the project  Image Gallery link.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund

The National Lottery Heritage Fund is the largest funder for the UK’s heritage. Using money raised by National Lottery players we support projects that connect people and communities to heritage. Our vision is for heritage to be valued, cared for and sustained for everyone, now and in the future. From historic buildings, our industrial legacy and the natural environment, to collections, traditions, stories and more. Heritage can be anything from the past that people value and want to pass on to future generations. We believe in the power of heritage to ignite the imagination, offer joy and inspiration, and to build pride in place and connection to the past.  https://www.heritagefund.org.uk
