Our Church fellowship is warm and friendly and we are committed to doing all we can to make our church ‘the hospitable heart’ of Kempsey.

We believe in celebrating LIFE together and doing this by sharing in Friendship, Faith and Fun.

We aim to be a community that celebrates God’s goodness and faithfulness in our lives, where everyday moments matter and where, big or small, those moments are celebrated. Working together, laughing together, crying together and celebrating differences; we strive to be a church that worships God, serves the wider community and makes a difference in the world.

We joyfully and wholeheartedly encourage people to explore, question, and wrestle with what it means to live out and communicate the teachings of Jesus. And because we see faith as a journey, we wholly expect to make mistakes and fail along the way! And as a church, our commitment to the journey means that (when it comes to programmes, processes, music styles, and how we operate on a weekly basis) change is assumed, risk taking is anticipated, innovation is expected, new perspectives are welcome, and creativity is prized. From our Xcite family and All Age worship, to the well-loved traditional services, St Mary’s has something for everyone within a family that is united in worship and service.

Our vision is for everyone, everywhere is to encounter God's love. As a community, we believe God is good, God is just, God is kind, and God is loving and that our role is to be a compelling, compassionate force for good in the world, leading the way towards a better world for all.
