The Parochial Church Council

The 'PCC' is the group which manages the Church of England Parish for St John the Baptist.  It is legally responsible for the financial affairs of the church parish and the maintenance of its assets - in our case the Church and the Parish Room.  In our Parish, this group meets about six times a year with an AGM (called an Annual Parochial church meeting APCM) in April, and is composed of:

Heather Lewis -Churchwarden; Margaret Haywood - Churchwarden; Anthony Buttanshaw - Treasurer (not a member of the PCC); Claire Marshall - Secretary; Julia Gillett - representing Churchill and the Deanery representative; Joan Baker - representing Spetchley; Di Sambrooks - Deanery representative; Tim MacFarlane; Nan Miles; Mike Tomlinson; Paul Haywood - ex officio Fabric Manager (not a member of the PCC).

PCC members are volunteers and Trustees of the church and  are elected for a period of 3 years.
