All Saints’ Day
Collect
Almighty God,
you have knit together your elect
in one communion and fellowship in the mystical body of your Son Christ our Lord:
grant us grace so to follow your blessed saints
in all virtuous and godly living
that we may come to those inexpressible joys
that you have prepared for those
who truly love you;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Prayer for the Week as we see the horror and hatred in our world
Lord Christ,
we are strangers and pilgrims on the earth, disconcerted by the world’s violence and sorrow: Wherever we are on this day’s journey
breathe on us your gentle Spirit
that we may be oases of quiet and refreshment bringing to your uneasy world
reconciliation and peace. Amen.
(Common Order, Church of Scotland)

A message from Gill Creed in Peopleton……
The clocks have changed and winter is drawing on. Please support Peopleton’s collection for St Paul’s Hostel Worcester. Items can be brought to St Nicholas Church, Peopleton either before or preferably on 26th November. (To be left at the back of the Church). The hostel has 40 beds for men and 5 for women.
They can always do with the following:-
Single bedding, sheets, quilts, quilt covers, pillows, towels and toiletries.
I will then transport the items to the hostel. If anyone wants to contact me I am on 07583 276702.
Thank you…….Gill.

A plea for the local food banks. Items of food, toiletry and cleaning materials etc can be left in the collection box in St Nicholas Church, in the Pantry in Peopleton or in most supermarkets. Please do help – the need is urgent.
