Almighty God,

who called your Church to bear witness
that you were in Christ reconciling the world to

yourself:

help us to proclaim the good news of your love,
that all who hear it may be drawn to you;
through him who was lifted up on the cross,
and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.

We send best wishes to Emily and Josh, getting

A little prayer to help us all, especially those thinking
about their faith and taking the next step along the

road.
Almighty God,
you search us and know us:
may we rely on you in strength
and rest on you in weakness,
now and in all our days;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

A prayer for peace for our troubled world
God, send you peace.
Peace to this world,
Peace to this country,
Peace for my friends and my community,
Peace for my family and my loved ones.
God give me your peace,
And then help me to give it away.

Amen.

A prayer for when life seems dark
Give us, O God,

the vision which can see your love in the world in

spite of human failure.

Give us faith to trust your goodness in spite of our

ignorance and weakness.

Give us the knowledge so that we continue to pray
with understanding hearts and to do what each one of
us can do to set forward the coming of the day of

universal peace.
Amen

…….and for when we are busy

Lord,

you know how busy we must be this week.
If we forget you, please do not forget us.

For Christ’s sake.
Amen.
