O God, the protector of all who trust in you,
without whom nothing is strong, nothing is holy:
increase and multiply upon us your mercy;
that with you as our ruler and guide
we may so pass through things temporal
that we lose not our hold on things eternal;
grant this, heavenly Father,
for our Lord Jesus Christ’s sake,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.

The Christian Aid appeal this year has raised £335.40
(including gift aid) from Peopleton and Upton

Snodsbury.

A big thank you to all who contributed and to the
volunteers who delivered the Christian Aid envelopes.

Shirley Clay writes:

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the
Coffee Morning and Big Breakfast in Peopleton
making them such great community events in the sun.
Thanks to the team who worked so hard to make
everything so enjoyable, especially Sue and Kim for
the delicious breakfast on Saturday. All monies raised
go towards the upkeep of St Nicholas church.

Huge thanks to everyone who participated in
whatever way in the White Ladies Aston with Churchill
& Spetchley Fete on Saturday. A fabulous £5760 was
raised which was 10% more than last year – no mean
feat! The money is for the church and most likely go
towards the cost of the repairs needed to the church

steeple.

A big thank you to everyone who works so hard for all
the churches in our Benefice – last Saturday saw the
Big Breakfast in Peopleton and the Fete in White
Ladies Aston and next Saturday the annual Fete at
Upton House in Upton Snodsbury in support of St
Kenelm’s. Without the loyal support, energy and love
shown by everyone, our communities and church
buildings would be the poorer in so many ways.
My licensing as Priest in Charge of the Benefice is
happening next Sunday. Here are the details.
I would love to see you all there!
