Trinity Sunday

Glory be to the Father, to the Son and to the Holy
Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever

shall be.
Collect
Almighty and everlasting God,
you have given us your servants grace,
by the confession of a true faith,
to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity
and in the power of the divine majesty
to worship the Unity:
keep us steadfast in this faith,
that we may evermore be defended
from all adversities;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.

On this Sunday, we celebrate (and maybe struggle a
little with) the doctrine of the Trinity.
Father, You sent your Word to bring us truth
and your Spirit to make us holy.
Through them we come to know
the mystery of your life.

Help us to worship you, one God in three persons.
You reveal yourself in the depths of our being,
by proclaiming and living our faith in you.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God for ever and ever. Amen.
A thank you

A thank you to everyone who supported the Jazz
evening in Cowsden last weekend held in aid of St
Kenelm’s church. A great evening was enjoyed and
£350 raised towards needed work on the church
floor and a long list of minor repairs suggested by

the architect.
