On Palm Sunday - the last two thoughts for Lent
Ninth of ten thoughts during Lent about ‘praying’
Fear not my friend. Life is full of personal dilemmas
and anxieties. From life-changing events to annoying
niggles, they can all weigh heavily and cause us to lose
hope. But whatever we face God is with us. Try
opening yourself to God’s presence today; let Him fill
you with love and guide you through the difficulties

you are facing.

Last of ten thoughts during Lent about ‘praying’
Thank you: two small but powerful words. They can
be spoken with little thought and just become second
nature. Or in thinking about the people and things we
are thankful for, we can cultivate a real spirit of
gratitude which will pervade all we do.
Take a few moments to dwell on what you have, all of
life’s blessings you enjoy, however small and offer a

‘thank you’ to God.

Remembering the triumph of Palm Sunday
Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes
in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!

A message from Revd Claire………
As we approach Holy Week, there are plenty of
services in our beautiful churches.  From the quietness
of morning prayer, to remembering the solemn but
poignant Good Friday to the highs of Easter Day.  I
hope to see many of you there.  Revd Claire
