this beautiful space. Refreshments will be available
and Church Warden Helen will welcome your efforts
with the many jobs that need doing.

Weekly information continued

Room, White Ladies Aston please contact

Please do support the coffee morning in the Parish
Room next Saturday 1 April at 10.00am to raise funds

as a result of the devastating earthquakes.
News of the disaster may have slipped from the front
pages of our newspapers but the misery and despair
continue. There will be a wine and coffee raffle.
Donations – particularly of the coffee kind would be
most welcome. Please contact Margaret Haywood for

As Passiontide begins and thoughts of Christ’s last

days take hold…..

Seventh of ten thoughts during Lent about ‘praying’
Grass between your toes, wind in your hair, rain on
your skin…..……reconnect with nature and be
refreshed and renewed.

A walk in the park with grandchildren or time spent
tending the garden or just sitting in an armchair

admiring a house plant.

Whatever you do, slow down, and look with ‘new’
eyes at the wonder of creation all around.
Maybe helping this Saturday in St Kenelm’s will seem
more relevant and will resonate with this……
Eighth of ten thoughts during Lent about ‘praying’
From The Beach Boys to Bach, music sets the spirit
free to soar. Music can make us right with the world.
Rhythm assures us that there is order, melodies that

there is joy.

When life gets too much, let the music speak to you.
Allow its creativity and melody to hold you – in terror

or joy, frustration or delight.
A Prayer for Passiontide
Almighty and everlasting God,
who in your tender love towards the human race
sent your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ to take upon
him our flesh and to suffer death upon the cross:
grant that we may follow the example of his
patience and humility,

and also be made partakers of his resurrection;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

and
O Lord,
please think through me,
feel through me,
speak through me,
act through me,
love through me.

I surrender, trust and ask your help to accept
whatever comes today, like it or not. Amen.
