Grant, we beseech you, merciful Lord,
to your faithful people pardon and peace,
that they may be cleansed from all their sins
and serve you with a quiet mind;

All Souls’ commemoration

A special Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance
for loved ones who have died will be held at 7.00pm
on 1 November in St Leonard’s church, Broughton
Hackett. You are, of course, very welcome to attend
the service just to sit and remember a special person

quietly in your heart.

There will be time for remembering and for reflection
and an opportunity to light a candle in their memory.
If you would like a friend or relative specially
remembered at the service please do let me have the
name(s) in advance and before Saturday 26 October if

at all possible.

Please email me: [email protected] or
phone: 01386 860389. Thank you.
A prayer for us all

O Lord God, we thank you for the years you have
given us together, for joys and sorrows shared.
Lord Jesus, please heal the wound of parting with your

gentle touch. Amen.
Open Deanery Service

There will be a Deanery service of Holy Communion,
open for everyone to take part, on Tuesday 12
November 2024 at 7:00pm at All Saints’ Church

Evesham WR11 4RW.

There is parking at Merstow Green, WR11 4BD which

is free in the evenings.

The service will be led by our new Archdeacon Mark
Badger and he will be reflecting on
Journeying Together Towards the Light.
Advent is only a few weeks away when we prepare
afresh for the birth of Christ to enter into and enrich

our lives.

This service will give ample opportunity for us, as
individuals and parishes, to remember that as we
journey together and we experience periods of
change, ever present with us all on our journey is the

light of Christ.

All are very welcome to take part in this Deanery
Service. It is a unique opportunity to meet and
worship with Christians from across our Deanery.
A Prayer for the week ahead
Lord Jesus Christ,
alive and at large in the world,
help me to follow wherever you lead;
help me to serve you where I live, where I work, and

where I meet people.
Take me as a disciple of your kingdom,
to see through your eyes, and hear the questions you

are asking,

to welcome all others with your trust and truth, and
to change the things that contradict

God’s love,

by the power of the cross and the freedom of your

Spirit. Amen.
