The World Day of Prayer Service has been put
together by The Christian Women of Palestine. Their
theme is I beg you, bear with one another in love.
Everyone is very welcome to the coffee morning at
Betty and Helen’s home on Saturday morning (2
March) in aid of the floor in St Kenelm’s. With
Tombola, Raffle, Bring and Buy.
The Lent course continues on Tuesday at the Rectory
in Peopleton. Please do go along – even if you missed
the first session – for an enjoyable and stimulating

evening.

Thoughts for the second Sunday in Lent –
We would not be human if from time to time we did
not feel all at sea in our lives, with both personal
things and thoughts and feelings evoked by the oh so
difficult times we are living through………….
Wouldn’t it be great to trust enough to be able to say

and experience this…….
I prayed
"Please Lord,
my life is a mess,
let your love flow through me
and bring healing."
And like a river
cool refreshing water
you flowed through me.
Not as a gentle stream,
a rivulet of hope,
but a torrent,
sweeping debris away.
All those broken branches,
rust-encrusted items,
and accumulated debris,
which were holding back the flow
swept aside in a torrent of love,
flooding through my veins,
pouring into my heart,
filling my life.
This is healing.
Thank you, Lord.

It is almost that time of the year again –
The Church Annual Parochial Church Meetings

(APCMs) are looming!

Maybe it is time to think about doing something
extra for your Parish church? – maybe standing for
the PCC and getting stuck in. Please do speak to the
Church Warden or anyone on your PCC.
There are so many ways to help and help is always

very welcome!
Annual Meetings are as follows:
Peopleton - 18 March at 7.30pm in St Nicholas
Church. Wine and nibbles provided.
White Ladies Aston - 9 April at 7.00pm in The Parish

Room.

Upton Snodsbury – 10 April at 7.30pm in St Kenelm

Church.

Broughton Hackett – to be arranged.
In my breathing – Peace.
In my feeling – Peace.
In my being – Peace.
In my thinking – Peace.
In my speaking – Peace.
In my doing – Peace.
In my travelling – Peace.
In my sleeping – Peace.
In my whole being – the Peace far beyond my

understanding.

For it is the Peace which is of God and which is God.
