Our churches – now and future - for the Five Alive Parish & Bishampton & Throckmorton

Occurring
for 2 hours, 30 mins
Venue
Holland House
Address
Holland House Main Street Cropthorne Pershore, WR10 3NB

We all recognise the changing culture for the Church and our local churches. We cannot know what Church will look like in the future, nor the availability of people’s gifts, nor the work of the Holy Spirit which is full of surprises; we can though, I think, envisage that some things will be different, and it is this, that I’d like us to spend some dedicated time together to think about, on Saturday 5 April at Holland House. Coffee will be available on arrival at 10:00am, the discussion will start at 10:20 with a break for coffee and cake at 11:30 and will conclude by 12:30pm.
My intention is for this to be a step to help us look at what we see happening, to ask ourselves “so what is this telling us?” and to pray on this; and then, to come back after a month or two, to ask the next question, “so what do we do next?

Safeguarding

The parish of Fladbury, Hill and Moor, Wyre Piddle, Cropthorne and Charlton is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
