Café Church – Sunday 23 June – help is needed
We need volunteers to provide a simple breakfast of tea, coffee, toast, fruit juice and fresh fruit. If you can help on any of the following dates, please contact Sue Hiscocks [email protected] or Sarah [email protected]
Café Church complements existing church services. We hope it will be attractive to people of all ages who prefer a more informal approach, including people who are seeking or re-discovering Christian faith.

This year’s event will be held at the Villages Hall, Broad Lane in Bishampton, which is a wonderful venue. The fete will be held on Saturday 22 June from 1pm to 4pm.
We’ll have a great entertainment programme such as the renowned Bretforton Silver Band, the Pershore U3A Ukelele Band, our popular dog show, lots of activity stalls, games, BBQ, Bar and magnificent raffle with great prizes.

It has been announced that The Revd Canon Dr Stephen Edwards has been appointed by HM The King as the new Dean of Worcester! Stephen has been Interim Dean since the retirement of the Very Revd Peter Atkinson last September. He will be installed as Dean on Sunday 15 September at 3pm.
There will be a benefice HC Service at 11:00 at Throckmorton with the Five Alive choir followed by a picnic. Please bring your own picnic and chairs.

Thank you to all the village volunteers for organising a lovely summer fete last Saturday, enjoyed by so many people and all ages. Thank you to all supported the day, and St Anne’s Raffle which raised £615 for St Anne’s churchyard.
