St Giles

The church of St Giles' serves the village of Bredon on the southern side of Bredon Hill and is part of the Bredon Hill Group of Churches.

The Priest in Charge of St Giles' Bredon is the Vicar of Eckington, Reverend Allison Davies who can be contacted via e-mail at [email protected]. The Associate Priest for St Giles' is Reverend Katryn Leclezio who can be contacted at [email protected].

If you have a general inquiry or a specific query about baptisms, weddings or funerals please contact the Administrative Coordinator for the Bredon Hill Group, Alison Khan on 07984 748059 or at [email protected].

From the 18th April 2021 the churches in the Bredon Hill Group will start to reopen for public worship after the third national lockdown. This will commence with two services each Sunday across the Hill but over time as the Government's Roadmap continues, it is hoped that more services will be offered each week. Details of our services can be found on the Services and Events page.

For those wishing to visit St Giles' it is open daily between 10am and 4pm.  These hours will change to 10am and 3pm once the clocks go back in October. If groups are planning to visit the church it would be appreciated if they would make contact in advance to ensure that their visit is not clashing with an event at the church.

Please visit our news and notices page for the latest copy of the Bredon Hill Group Connection.

The parish of Bredon is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
