St Clement's, Worcester

The Parish of Worcester St Clement is nearly 1000 years old and one of the oldest parishes in the City of Worcester.

The parish began life on the east side of the River Severn serving the communities who relied on the river for the their living. The church was known as the Watermen's church.

Following a re-organisation of parishes in the city, and a proclamation by King George IV, the parish church that stands on Henwick Road now was built and consecrated on 23rd March 1823.

Regular Sunday services are held at 9.30 am along with weekday services for special occasions.,

The church is open during the day for private prayer from Monday to Friday with Coffee mornings on most Saturdays.

The extensive church crypt is used by the Men's Shed charity on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a craft morning on Wednesdays.
