The fourth Sunday of every month, a new way of worship for all agesThe theme of this month’s Forest Church is Feed the Birds, There will be songs, stories and this month’s activity is Bird Food Café and involves egg box cups, fir cones peanut and bird seed. Come along at 3.30pm to Almshouse Woods to find out more.
Every other Monday starting at 7.30pm the Zoom Monday Bible study are meeting again and will be looking at different sections of the Lords Prayer. All very welcome. Please get in touch with Sally Knowles, sallyp88@btinternet.com.
We have already replaced the floor, getting rid of the cold musty damp atmosphere and giving us a beautiful practical new oak floor with cosy underfloor heating and wiring to future-proof our connectivity needs for a while. We have replaced some of the pine pews with light comfortable hi-stacking chairs and will soon have new cupboards with a flower-arrangers' sink in the Tower.Our next phase is the all important introduction of facilities (accessible toilet and kitchenette) to the North Transept - SO important in these present times when we have to be Hands, Face, Space alert all the time. Most of the funding has been raised - just a few £1000s to go! Applications are in to funders, and if you could help too we hope to be able to have these facilities in 2021.
