St John the Baptist

Welcome to the St John the Baptist, Bransford page.  Together with St Edburga's, Leigh it serves the Leigh and Bransford parish within the Worcestershire West Rural Team.  The vicar for the parish is the Reverend Anne Potter and her details can be found below.

The chapel in Bransford is a small, quaint Norman building which has changed little since it was built, and is lit only by candlelight. Before COVID it held a monthly traditional service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer.Opening of Church Buildings for Private Prayer. Please check the services and events page for dates of forthcoming services.

Although the churches at Crown East, Leigh, Alfrick and Suckley are now open for private prayer please note that St John the Baptist will not be opening at this time.

Find our latest Pew Sheet on the news and notices page.

The parish of Leigh and Bransford is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
