A funeral is used to mark the end of a person’s life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for the life lived and commend the person into God’s keeping. These can be a small, quiet ceremony or a large occasion in a packed church.
Everyone is entitled to a funeral service in their local parish church, regardless of whether they attended church or not. Please speak to your funeral director or the Rector, Rev'd Pete Stone 01534 878662 for more information.

The Parish cemetery is administered by the Church on behalf of the Parish of St Martin. Your chosen Funeral Director will normally liaise with the Church if you would like to be buried in St Martin's Cemetary, however please feel free to phone the Rector with any questions.
