ECO Church

Awbridge Church is currently working towards achieving a  Silver Award, as part of the A Rocha Eco-church Project which includes us taking steps to encourage others to join in caring for our planet.

November Eco-tip:

Look after the birds in your garden by cleaning bird feeders, to prevent the spread of disease. Install nest boxes for next Spring. See arocha.org.uk/give-abird-a-home. If anyone could make some bird boxes for us to install in the churchyard we would love to hear from you. Reflect on the wildlife you see locally, with these words from Psalm 50 v11 ‘I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine.’
