In January 2025 All Saints Awbridge Church was delighted to receive an A Rocha Eco-church Silver Award in recognition of the steps we have taken to encourage us all to join in caring for our planet.

Eco-tip for July

It is Plastic Free July and this year A Rocha is thinking about laundry, a top source of microplastic pollution. 

Fibres from synthetic clothes (polyester, nylon, and acrylic for example) shed tiny fibres during washing and drying. These enter the sewage systems and are hard to filter out.  Maybe we could use a microfibre bag or ball to catch the fibres.
