About Us

St Mary the Virgin is one of the oldest churches in England. It has grown from its Saxon origins, through centuries of alteration, repair and addition, to the 21^st Century church you see today.

St Mary’s has strong links in the community of Eling and the town of Totton. Generations have been married, baptised and have had funeral services at the church. Our visitors come with their cherished memories and leave with more.
