About Us

St Martin in the Wood is part of the parish of Chandler's Ford and one of two churches in the parish (the other being St Boniface). St Martin's is located in the Hiltingbury area of the parish. We are a large and busy Anglican parish covering Hiltingbury, Fryern Hill and the Velmore estate. Both churches are very much part of the community and the church centres are used by a wide variety of groups of all ages. The core of our church life is worshipping God through our many and varied services and through serving Him in the wider community.

Regular weekly services:

Wednesday: Said Holy Communion at 10.00am

Sunday:

Sung Holy Eucharist at 10.00am with Coffee/Tea after (1st & 3rd Sundays / see St Boniface for other Sundays)

Encounter at 6.30pm (3rd Sunday only)

All Age Communion at 10.00am (5th Sunday only - alternates between St Boniface & St Martin's)

At present we hold Holy Baptism services at St Martin's on the 1st Sunday of the month
