The 9am service is a traditional Communion service, sometimes with hymns accompanied by our organist. It often follows the Book of Common Prayer (1662), which is loved for the beauty of its language and the contemplation and quiet it provides.

Between 20-30 people meet to worship at this time, so usually we gather in the church’s choir stalls. This service generally lasts about 30-45 minutes, and all are welcome to stay for coffee and croissants in the Link afterwards.

This service has something different going on every week. It is always relaxed and welcoming. Everyone gathers together to worship, and then children and youngsters have the opportunity to go out to their own age-related groups. To find out more about our children’s work on Sundays, see here.

The service gives time for vibrant worship, reading from God’s Word, prayer and ministry, as well as biblical teaching. Communion usually happens monthly on the fourth Sunday, and baptisms are also a regular feature.
