Alpha is an opportunity to explore the big questions of life and faith. We meet each week over food, watch a short video exploring a theme about faith and then break into small groups to discuss it. There's no pressure to attend church, no prior experience or belief needed, Alpha is for everyone. No question is too big or small, it's an informal space to work out the big topics of life, faith and belief.

St Andrew's Charminster

Welcome to St Andrew's, Charminster. We meet every Sunday morning at 10am to gather together to pray, worship and meet with God as one church family. Absolutely everyone is welcome at St Andrew's, whatever your background, belief or experience of church - there's a place for everyone. As a church we're seeking to be good news for Charminster, living out the mission of Jesus in the part of Bournemouth we're called to serve. Come and say hello!

Safeguarding

At St Andrew's we are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Winchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO on [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor on [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services
