Opening
The church is usually open every day from about 10am until 4pm, or sunset if earlier. You are very welcome to visit.
Getting here
The church is above Kingsgate, one of the surviving gates in Winchester’s medieval city wall, just outside the south gate of the Cathedral Close. If you’re coming by car, approach via Kingsgate Street to the south side of Kingsgate where you may find a parking place in College Street. There’s no public parking in St Swithun Street. The passage under Kingsgate itself has been closed to vehicles for many years and you can’t drive through it, regardless of what your mapping app may say!
